    Dip dye hair!

As you all know, my previously dip dyed hair faded a long time ago into streaks of orange and golden brown. And I’m still not quite over the dip dying hype so I joined a hair dye pre-order over at Pretty Pieces and got myself two bottles of La Riche Directions hair dye. All I can say about La Riche hair dye is.. IT IS AWESOME!

I got myself a bottle of Carnation Pink and Lavender.

I dyed it on Monday night at 10pm and left the hair dye on for 5 hours til 3am. Yes I had it on for that long just to make sure that the dye was fully absorbed into my hair. The result? FRESH PINK DIP DYED ENDS, I LOVE IT!

Look, the colour is even more obvious than my pink bralet!

It has been five days since my dip dye and the colour doesn’t seem to have faded one bit. I also like the fact that it is vegan hair dye! I love love love love La Riche Hair Dye I can’t even express my love for it coherently.

You can get La Riche Hair Dye from Pretty Pieces. They are having another pre-order and it ends on 31st July. My sister and I are thinking of getting a few more bottles this week to stock up!Β So you really gotta grab some of these hair dyes now I’m serious. Β The owner, Francessca, is extremely thoughtful like she would text customers how to dip dye their hair, and remind that your hair HAS to be bleached for the true colour of the hair dye to show on your hair. She also constantly keeps her customers updated about the shipping status of the hair dyes and replies texts on time. I like her a lot πŸ™‚

La Riche Hair Dye costs $14 per bottle.Β For reference, I used less than half a bottle for my hair. So go, get yourself these hair dyes now at Pretty Pieces!

It’s Saturday and I will be working for Gatsby in town. Come catch the Gatsby girls at Cineleisure, take some pictures at our ginormous Gatsby Photobooths and get some free samples^^ πŸ™‚

      Hi Maddie,

The hair dye does not turn your hair blond. You definitely have to bleach your hair prior to dip-dyeing. I have extremely dark and stubborn hair. So I bleached it first! πŸ˜‰

Ah, I don’t think I can help you with this dear. Because I haven’t done bleaching by myself. I think it’s better to get it done at the salon! I recently went to the salon to bleach a bigger portion of my hair for a commercial, and they did a superb job!

Hello Shir, the colour ultimately depends on the state of your hair. If your hair is very bleached, the colour will come out more. But if your hair is still dark, the colour might not be as obvious! ^^ Hope this helps!

    Hi Keline,
    Reali nice hair u’v gotten!

My dip-dye is now orange when I told the hairdresser tt I want red & its kinda ugly.

Anyway, is bleaching hair on our own dangerous? (dangerous as in we might not know if the bleach will damage the hair…)

Hi Dith! Thank you! I THINK your hair is orange because it might not have absorbed the red dye fully. This may be because your hair was not bleached enough. There are different degrees of bleaching, and of course if your hair is VERY bleached, then it will absorb any colour easily.

Any kind of bleach will damage the hair. It’s the after care and treatment that can help improve the condition of your bleached hair πŸ™‚
