  • Sponsored Review: NARUKO Marjoram and Lavender Classic Brightening Night Gelly

If you follow me on Twitter, you would have read some tweets about a new skincare product that I’m currently using. It’s the NARUKO Marjoram and Lavender Classic Brightening Night Gelly!

When I first received this product, I was excited and eager to try it because NARUKO belongs to Niu Er laoshi, who frequents Nv Ren Wo Zui Da. I used to watch Nv Ren Wo Zui Da in my teen days and learnt a lot of beauty tricks from the TV programme!

The product comes in a clear purple container, simple and nice packaging 🙂

It comes with a spatula for you to scoop small amounts of the gelly onto your palms. It is good for hygiene purposes but I find it troublesome to store the spatula because it does not fit the size of the container. So I always have to wipe the the spatula clean and keep it somewhere.

Only a small amount like this is needed for application on your face.

Apply the product on your face and slowly massage the goodness into your skin in a circular motion. At the same time, take in deep breaths to inhale the fragrance of the lavender oil which helps to calm nerves and prepares your body for bedtime.

Let me share my experience using it:

    • Inititally, I thought the gelly would be thick and greasy, given the cream texture. But no, it gets absorbed into the skin within seconds, leaving the skin fresh and clear.
    • I have the habit of touching my face whenever I wake up in the morning. And the morning after I first used the NARUKO Marjoram and Lavender Night Gelly, I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!
    • My skin was extremely smooth and silky. I am not kidding. I even went to ask my sister and Roy to touch my face haha.
    • My pores became visibly smaller and my skin was almost flawless.
So far, I have no problems using the product at all. I am so gonna finish the entire tub of this haha. I think it suits Normal-Oily skin the best. One of the reasons why I think the product worked so well on my skin is because this product might be formulated for Asian skin. You know how sometimes certain products from Western countries might not suit us so well because of the climate, environmental and biological factors.

The peeps from NARUKO Singapore were nice to send me a couple of NARUKO products. Now I totally can’t wait to try all of them out! Will let y’all know how they work on my skin.

-This product is produced free of parabens, preservatives, artificial ingredients and pigment composition. It was not tested on animals.

The NARUKO Marjoram And Lavender Classic Brightening Night Gelly retails at $21.90. You can get it here!

Have a great Monday guys!! Xoxo.

Naruko is best known for its night gelly. I have been using the Rose & Snow Fungus Night Gelly and I really like the soothing rose fragrance. My skin type is also normal-combination so I will give the Lavender night gelly a try too 😉

Too bad it is not available at Watsons but I’ll get it online. I bought the Rose night gelly at Watsons though. Have a good day ahead 🙂

Hello Eulise! My skin is also oily at t-zone with large pores on my nose. This is not an advert, so all of the above are my honest opinions from using it. I was really shocked at the results when I first used it. I now include this gelly in my daily skincare routine. I use it every night before I sleep. And it doesn’t cause my skin to be more oily. However, it might differ from people to people. I can’t for sure say it WILL definitely work for you, but I do recommend it to my friends. My sister also got herself one 🙂
