    Singapore Bikes Forum 11th Anniversary!

So I was selected to work for the Singapore Bikes Forum 11th Anniversary and to be honest, I didn’t know what the event was about until the day before the actual date. I was pretty worried about my uniform and my jobscope since I have never done any actual bike/motor events. BUT BUT I am so very thankful that I was selected to work under Mah Pte Ltd, because I’ve worked with them previously for the launch and the people were so nice! Also, we were in the air-con booth!

Most of the time, my job was to give out key chains and flyers. Other than that, just sitting around and looking nice. Haha, and queueing for Gong Cha! Also, I must have incurred good karma my past life to be able to partner two lovely girls at work, Elizabeth and Angela.

During the first day, time was passing by sooo extremely slowly. And my feet were starting to hurt from the boots. But the good thing was, one of workers told me I didn’t have to wear that outfit the next day! And I could come in shorts/jeans and any black heels. Best thing that ever happened to me. HAHA. Also, they specially bought me non-pork lunch upon knowing I don’t take pork. AWWW so nice right these people!

    With Melvin!

I don’t know why the photos are so grainy. I think it’s because I stole them from Facebook ahaha.

Me, Giselle, Elizabeth and Angela with Ashley, the gorgeous golden retriever! She belongs to one of the bosses of another brand.

Roy came and took some pictures. I told him if I were to catch him snapping pictures of other girls, I’d break his camera lenses. #crazypsychoticgirlfriend

    Spot me!

A very blur picture but Β that’s the only full body picture that I have. Thank you wonderful girls for the great company during work! Couldn’t have asked for better working partners! Thank you Singapore Bikes Forum 11th Anniversary event for letting me meet such nice people. πŸ˜‰ Hehe see you girls at the next event!

When work ended, Roy picked me up at Scape and we walked to the flea… and he got me a llama!! Yesssss the white furry thing.

Super cute! I had been eyeing it for weeks ever since I saw it for sale on Instagram but couldn’t bear to spend my money on it..

CNY is approaching is less than a week’s time! Have you gotten your new year clothes yet? I.. have not! Somebody tell me I’m not alone please. Haha I’ve been wayyy too busy with school and work to even go out shopping. Ugh. I hate being busy. And I hate that I don’t update this space frequently. ROAR. Hope I can update you girls more about my life!

I just did some spring cleaning a few hours ago and Roy & I are thinking of re-painting my room. We also shifted the direction of our bed. haha it’s Fengshui! And I threw away a whole lot of A level notes. Was a bit reluctant to throw them away because they are my prized possession. But I guess, some things always have to go. I won’t be using them regularly anyway. In fact, I have never touched them ever since A levels ended more than 4 years ago. Imagine the dust and dirt collected over the years! And, I might be discarding my study table away because it simply takes up too much space in my room. Speaking of which… I would like to share a convo between my brother, roy and me this evening while clearing my room.

My brother: I think you should sacrifice your big table. Throw it away.
Me: Huh!! I need to study one leh.
My brother and Roy: O_O?! You got study one meh?!?!

Ya ya, I’ve never really studied since I entered university ahah. KK back to spring cleaning. My room is pathetically small by the way. Hmm, we are thinking of installing a TV! Roy actually bought a Samsung TV 2 years ago but has never used it ever since he moved in with me. So we are thinking of shifting the TV over putting it to good use!

We hope to get everything done by CNY.. which is almost impossible. But if everything gets completed by then, I’ll definitely take some pictures and show you dolls okay!! πŸ˜€

Wait wait, before I go!! Here’s some excessive nail porn for you!

My sister, Kay, is offering her nailart services in NTU on the 5th of February (which is tmrw) and 6th of February, Wednesday. I’m not sure if her slots are completely booked ttm or what but if you are in school and would like to have pretty nails for CNY & have got no other time to get out of Pulau NTU to get your nails fixed, FIND MY SISTER! She will be at South Spine, I think somewhere near the Radio Fusion booth.

In case you don’t know how she looks like,

HAHA I went to Facebook to search our photos only to realise we don’t have any nice photos together and this was the only proper photo. I think I was 8 years old and Kay was 6!

Okay okay real recent photos of my sister:

She’s the one in the middle. Does she look at me?? πŸ˜€

Β She’s the one on the left.

So pretty and talented right my sister!! I can’t guarantee she has slots left but you can give it a try. Just pop by during lunch or something. OTHERWISE, you can book her on other days!! You can drop her an email at [email protected]. She updates frequently with super pretty and cutesy nail designs on Instagram, follow her @twentysixnails! πŸ™‚

    xoxo

Looks like you had a lot of fun at the bike forum! I wish I was skinny enough to be a model here in the States (I think I would have to starve myself! ha).

Anyway, I love your llama and nails. I really want one of those llamas too, but they are hard to find here :(.

And your sister is super talented at nail art. If I lived in Singapore, I would definitely have her do my nails!

Hey Aubree!! Nice hearing from you. Yeah I sure did. Oh nooo, don’t worry about starving yourself. You look perfect just the way you are! πŸ˜€ If you really want the llama, I could get one for you. It’s from Japan I think! But I think the shipping fees are gonna be horrible hahaa.

Ah you should come visit Singapore some day! I went to the US 2 years ago πŸ™‚ Was in UCLA! Would definitely pop by to meet you someday if I were to go over again!

By the way, I tried leaving comments on your site but couldn’t because I don’t have any ID and also emailed you but comcast blocked my email as spam! :'(

Hey I was wondering how do you secure these sort of jobs like that of the bike forum above. Is it via an agency? I’m 18 and would really like to give these sort of jobs a try. Thanks so much!

Hi Joanna, I get my jobs from various agents and the clients get to me directly also. If you want, you can send me your photos and comcard and I’ll see if there are any jobs and refer you to them.
