As you guys may have already seen the advertisements in town, Freshkon has recently launched it’s Freshkon Alluring Eyes 1-day contact lenses! I’m sure we are all familiar with Freshkon’s coloured contact lenses, but usually they are monthly lenses. This time, it’s for daily use as well! Great for those with sensitive or dry eyes.

I wore this pair of cosmetic lenses yesterday from 1pm-12am for work till I reached home and I did not experience a single bit of discomfort. Honestly, I was a bit surprised at the lack of discomfort because I previously wore Freshkon’s monthly contact lenses and they didn’t quite suit me. This time, IT WAS DIFFERENT!

I like Magnetic Grey because it creates some sort of mysterious aura and the grey add the extra sparkle to your eyes!

These lenses are subtle, and not too over the top. I understand that some people would wear cosmetic lenses to work or school daily so something too striking wouldn’t be pleasant.

And, I was working at an international trading fair yesterday and had to mingle around with all the expats. Guess what?!? This angmoh said to me, “You have beautiful eyes.” Not sure if he was trying to pick me up but I don’t think he was because he looked old enough to be my great grandfather.

The good thing about disposable cosmetic lenses is that you don’t have to spend money on contact lens solution. And you don’t have to worry about protein built-up and having to clean your lenses everyday.

Aesthetics: I will never say no to coloured contact lenses. So this adds an extra point to the Freshkon Alluring Eyes 1-Day contact lenses. I also like that the colours available are natural and don’t look too exaggerating.

Comfort wise: Having worn it for more than 10 hours and not experiencing any discomfort was a huge bonus point. I think it is great for people with sensitive eyes. The best part is you can just remove them and throw away once you reach home.

Price wise: A box of 30 pieces (15 pairs) is retailing for $56. For me, it’s a tad bit expensive because I’m still a student and I won’t be able to spend that much money on daily lenses. A month’s use of these lenses would cost me $112. If you’re on a budget, I’d suggest the monthly ones. However, if you are a working adult (hence more spendable income) who sits in the office ALL DAY and suffers from dry eyes due to the air-conditioning, then go for this! 🙂
