YAY IT’S THE WEEKEND! And I’m sharing with you guys a great product I’ve been using recently. It’s none other than the Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence Water Base.
I’ve used it for a few days now and I really have to say it’s better than some of the sunblocks I was previously using.
Texture is light and does not leave an uncomfortable oily layer on the skin. There are some micro-bits that I did not capture clearly but they are the Aqua Micro Capsules that release the UV block ingredients and moisture.
The product was as what it was described, light as water! It does not feel like there’s a layer of cream over your skin. In fact, you can’t feel anything. You can apply your makeup as usual after applying the sunscreen. It can be used for both your face and your body. That’s killing 2 birds with 1 stone because you don’t have to buy two separate sunscreens, one for your face and one for your body.
For a full day of school, my skin’s oiliness level was..
Sorry, I know some people find oil blotters gross haha but this is how I measure my skin’s oiliness. As you can see, not one part of the sheet is transparent (indicating very oily) although one part (the nose area) is more oily than the rest.
I wore it out for a whole day from 1pm – 11pm in town and this was the amount of oil on my face by the time I got home,
Not that bad for an entire day of perspiration outdoor in town right? I know of some people who have oily skin and their skin tend to be even stickier & greasy after applying sunscreen or sunblock. For me, I have an oily t-zone and this sunscreen actually did not make my t-zone more oily. It feels just about the same as any other normal day. Trust me, it didn’t feel like my face was oily at all actually hahaa.
And that is not all, the Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence has a SPF of 50, which effectively helps to block the harmful UVA and UVB sun rays from our delicate skin.
If there is anything I don’t really like about the product, it would be the presence of Methoxycinnamate as one of the active ingredients. Other than that, this product serves its purpose well and delivers what it promises.
No more sticky and greasy feeling. 🙂
Smell/fragrance: It is lightly scented, has some sort of powdery smell which isn’t too overpowering. My sensitive nose didn’t get irritated so I guess it’s okay!
Use: It’s lightweight and cooling, does not leave a greasy feeling. It’s also allergy-tested and gentle on the skin, my skin did not have any allergy reaction when I used the product.
Price: It’s retailing for $18.90 at all leading pharmacies and selected supermarkets & hypermarkets. I think the prices for sunscreens are about this range so it is reasonable.
*Product was sponsored but all opinions are honest and solely my own.
Have a superb weekend girls!^^
