I attended The Body Shop Winter Trend Bloggers Workshop at Epilogue Cafe, Ion last week after my Forensic Science paper. Thankfully it was a S/U paper so I could leave early and rush down for the workshop, didn’t wanna miss it! When I reached the place, the workshop already started with foundation and eye shadow. So I could only follow from there!
We had Larry Yeo, celebrity makeup artist with us that night. It was my first time meeting him in person and his presence brought lots of joy and laughters haha. He is really nice and very very humorous!
Tip #1: Before you apply lipstick, apply some Natural Lip Roll-On Berry/Fruits Rouges. I like that this smells great, super kissable haha, and also it primes your lips for lipstick very well!
My new current lipstick obsession, in shade 12. It’s red and has some gold glitter. I wore it to dinner at Overeasy last week before clubbing and was surprised to know that it stayed on my lips after my dinner! Atiqah said this shade suits me just right 🙂
Tip #2: For a day look, just dab a bit of the above lipstick in shade 12 after the Natural Lip Roll-On. Also, I was only wearing BB cream.
Tip #3: You know how sometimes despite curling your lashes several times but they just don’t curl and look straight & poky. While applying mascara, leave the brush to dry for a bit before applying on your lashes so that the wet mascara doesn’t weigh down your lashes.
Tip #4: Get a fan brush from any art store to brush your eyelashes so the mascara doesn’t clump together. Your eyelashes will look naturally long and curled.
The Smoky Moonstone Palette and Smoky Copper Palette! I love the Moonstone Palette the most! It comes in shades of dark bronze and gold, perfect for Christmas and parties!
Jang Jang, my completed look!
Zomg the mascara made me look like I had falsies on?!

Time for food for our hungry stomachs!
Chicken Kebab! The people at The Body Shop were so thoughtful to incorporate their Christmas themes and food together. As their limited edition themes this year are Cranberry, Ginger and Vanilla, different food served all had a little bit of Cranberry as garnish, Ginger and Vanillas as ingredients!
When dinner was over, we were invited back to our seats for massage.
The 3 limited edition hand creams, Cranberry, Ginger and Vanilla.
My favourite flavour has definitely gotta be Cranberry! I always love smelling sweet haha.
That’s Larry looking so very pleased to receive a massage hahah.
We each went home with a brown paper bag that was individually labelled 🙂
And we were brought to the Ion store to take a look at their Christmas store layout and gifts available!
Just look at that rainbow shelves of gift sets!
The entire shop was crowded with shoppers and bloggers. There was a couple who stood outside and the boyfriend went, “FREE THINGS AH!?” Woah, typical Singaporean lol.
They have very affordable gift packs!
You can choose different items customised for your friends and have The Body Shop pack them nicely for you!
Here are my picks from the Christmas gift sets available at The Body Shop:
