Today I’m going to be sharing about the things to buy in Daiso. I’ve previously posted two other entries (here and here) about shopping in Daiso and they have both garnered popular responses. So here’s another entry about what to buy in Daiso! The stuff here I’m sharing today are bought during February to April period this year.
Left: Partition boards, Right: Pedestal for partition boards.
JANGJANG! definitely one of my best buys during my trip to Daiso this time round. I got them at the Sembawang Shopping Centre outlet, somewhere near the food area, they were hung up on the walls. These come in pink as well but they were already sold out!! I had no choice but to get the white one as I couldn’t wait to try them out. Turns out, white seems to be a better choice for me! Anyway, you can use these to divide your stuff, like accessories, makeup, stationeries, or even panties!
Let’s put them into use!
This is my box of accessories stash. Well, I don’t really have a lot of accessories (you can see I don’t even use them, lol at the price tags) but storing them can be quite a chore already. Look at all the necklaces tangled up. I initially had them placed nicely but they became a mess as time went by.
For this, I only used one cross stand pedestal.
Tada! Lesser chances of having ALL the necklaces being entangled together.
Let me admire my neat stash for a while, heh.
Contact lens casing – I am a fan of contact lens casings sold at Daiso!! I’ve bought several contact lens casings there already. You’d be surprised to find Hello Kitty ones there! This Hello Kitty casing came in pink and red, I bought both. For $2, I think it’s worth it since they come with designs and the ones we get at optical shops are also sold the same price. FYI, if you are a contact lens wearer, you have to change your contact lens casing every 3 months.
Picnic mat – In the other entry, I mentioned about being able to buy picnic mat at Daiso. My Dad was suggesting a picnic so I got this picnic mat for him. They come in blue and white as well, and different sizes. Be sure to choose the correct size! I got the 132 x 132 one ‘cos I think it’s the biggest. They have a 150cm one but the height is a lot shorter, like 90cm I think.
Pink furry pouch – I got this furry pouch at the Plaza Singapura outlet two months ago. They come in different shapes, colours and sizes. There are yellow and blue ones also if I do not remember wrongly. Heh, I intended for it to be my pencil case but didn’t manage to switch pencil cases. And so it shall be where I store my sanitary pads.
Floral tissues – Okay I was in urgent need of tissues and I so happened to be at Daiso haha, so I grabbed this packet of floral tissues. There are 16 small packets of tissues. Too chio not to get them anyway! For quality wise, you definitely cannot compare it with branded tissues (like Premier) or 3-ply tissues. These are 2-ply only. But they are definitely about the same as the ones you get at coffee shops, or of even slightly better quality.
Tweezers – OMG THIS IS THE BEST PAIR OF TWEEZERS I’VE USED, I KID YOU NOT! They have it in pastel blue and purple, sometimes floral as well. I bought this thinking they might not be as good since they were only $2 but I’ve used them for about 3 months now and they work perfectly. All kinds of fine hair or hard to deal with coarse hair can be easily plucked out with this pair of tweezers. I went back to Daiso one month after to buy them but couldn’t find it. Am so glad I found them on my second trip! Had to get an extra pair just in case I lose them because they are simply too good. Remember the brand is “CROBI PROFESSIONEL”.
I also got some eyelashes from Daiso, I think maybe I will leave them for another post called “Daiso Fake eyelashes” or something. I want to consolidate all the falsies and review if they are good or not. That will be better for those who are interested in purchasing falsies from Daiso but have not tried them. I shall be your guinea pig la okay hahaha. Hope y’all enjoyed this post and stay tuned for more to come! 🙂
