All Day Breakfast at Wild Honey

Caught up with my ex-colleagues last weekend and it was a good meet up session with those girls. I really miss those times we used to spend together. Thank you girls for coming into my life, you girls were the best thing that ever happened to me during internship!

We had brunch at Wild Honey @ Mandarin Gallery. It was my first time there and I had been dying to try it for a long while. The queue pretty long and we had to wait for an hour before we got a table. (I was late of course haha my friends patiently walked around and waited for me :D)

There was no physical menu for us to flip but there were blackboards scribbled with colourful chalks. There were too many words for us to digest, and thankfully there was an iPad near the order counter for us to look through the pictures of the menu. Zun and I both ordered the English Breakfast while Evelyn had Parisenne Breakfast.

The food came in about 10-15 minutes, which was quite fast considering the crowd in the restaurant.

My portion was HUGE for breakfast. I don’t think we Asians have that big a portion for our daily breakfast.

Scrambled eggs, back bacon, cumberland pork sausage, sauteed mushrooms, breakfast potatoes, grilled vine ripened tomato and signature broiche. – $22 (before GST and service charge)

I love the scrambled eggs, sauteed mushrooms and breakfast potatoes! I finished everything except for the pork sausage and bacon haha. If you don’t know, I don’t really take pork. Yep so I gave the bacon to Zun and had a few slices of the pork sausage. The rest, I finished them! 🙂

The scrambled eggs was creamy and melts in your mouth, the sauteed mushrooms weren’t too salty and omg the breakfast potatoes… I am in love!

    Evelyn’s Parisienne breakfast:

Her portion was so much smaller than our English breakfasts. I can’t remember how much her breakfast was but it was about $20 before GST and service charge.

The service there was not too bad, the staff were nice and attentive. I’m pretty sure I’ll go to Wild Honey again, except maybe the next time will be at their new Scott’s Square outlet 🙂

    Wild Honey is located at:

    Mandarin Gallery
    333A Orchard Road, 3rd Floor
    Phone: 6235 3900
(Note: They don’t take reservations at this outlet)

    Scotts’s Square
    6 Scott’s Road, 3rd Floor
    Phone: 6636 1816
(Note: Phone reservations and online reservations are accepted here)

After brunch, we decided to find a place to just chillax and talk so we headed to Cedele at Ngee Ann City.

Carrot Walnut Cake yumyum. We sat there for a good few hours and went to Far East Plaza for some cheap manicure! Hehe, express manicure was only $4 at Cinderella. Cheap thrill max! I don’t know where the exact location is at but it’s located on the 5th floor.

Roy came and we had dinner at Ayam Penyet Ria haha I think Ayam Penyet is our favourite food.

This is by far the best Ayam Penyet I’ve ever eaten! They have another outlet at Jurong Point basement, near Watsons and NTUC 😉

Oh gawd I ate so much that day. First Wild Honey, then tea and cakes at Cedele, Kungfu Milk Tea at Far East and dinner at Ayam Penyet Ria. I had so much food the entire day, my stomach felt soo uncomfortable I wanted to go home right away after dinner. I shouldn’t have eaten so much hurhur greedy me! That’s about it, happy midweek yall!!
